Dr. Sibley has received numerous prestigious awards for his work including a national Gold Medal for his work on the microbiome. He has published nearly 50 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in high impact journals.
Dr. Chris Sibley is a dermatologist and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He completed his dermatology residency training at the University of Ottawa during which he also obtained a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He holds a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Molecular Genetics from McMaster University where he graduated summa cum laude. He completed the MD/PhD program at the University of Calgary where his focus was in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.As a key opinion leader, he lectures regularly to colleague physicians, trainees and medical students. Dr. Sibley completed a fellowship in Laser Surgery and Cosmetic Medicine from the University of Ottawa under the tutelage of Dr. Laughlin, founder of Laserderm. His interests include research, translational medicine, medical and cosmetic dermatology with a focus on how technology and energy-based devices can be used to treat patients.
